T'puram: Tension gripped the district court complex at Vanchiyoor for some time on Friday afternoon following a bomb hoax.
An email, received on the official email ID of the court, warned of a blast at 2 pm. The message was noted at 1pm and soon police and dog squad were alerted. The court premises were evacuated immediately as a precautionary measure and the team began an inspection.
During the inspection, nothing suspicious was found and city cyber police began a probe.
"The investigation is focusing on the email ID and we have given a request to the agencies concerned seeking details of the ID," the probe team said.
A few days ago, similar hoax threats were received at the collectorate and regional transport office. During the initial investigation, nothing suspicious was found. Now, the probe is focusing on those cases too. TNN
