This Friends Tab will give a new experience to the users, along with this it is going to make many tasks of the users on the platform very easy. With its help, users will be able to connect with their friends more easily than ever.
Adding friends will be easy
Facebook said in its blog post that since Facebook was launched, this platform has been an important means of connecting with friends. In the last few years, Facebook has changed the platform in many ways keeping in mind the needs of the users. In the last few years, it has been observed that there has been a decline in adding friends on Facebook, staying connected with each other and chatting between friends as compared to earlier. Now the company is once again introducing a feature so that people can stay connected with their friends.
Get rid of ads
Facebook's new Friends Tab will help users to see posts, reels and stories on their friend's platform. This new tab will also give users relief from advertising. Meaning no ads of any kind will be shown in this Friends Tab section. In this section, only and only posts made by friends will be shown. According to Facebook, this new change is going to remind users of the old Facebook.
Let us tell you that Meta has currently rolled out this Friends Tab for the US and Canada. However, it is expected that the company can soon introduce it for other countries including India. Let us remind you that last year Facebook also added tabs like Local and Explore to the platform. According to the company's CEO Mark Zuckerberg, many features will be added to Facebook in the coming time.
