TNUSRB Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has released the notification for recruitment to the posts of Police Constable, Jail Prahari, and Fireman. A total of 3644 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 22 August 2025 to 21 September 2025 by visiting the official website tnusrb.tn.gov.in, while the last date for correction in the application form has been fixed as 25 September 2025. The tentative date of the written examination for this recruitment is 9 November 2025.

Under this recruitment drive, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board will appoint a total of 3644 posts, which include 2833 posts of Constable Grade-II, 631 posts of Fireman, and 180 posts of Jail Warder Grade-II.

What should be the age?

For this, the candidates should be 10th pass. For this recruitment, the minimum age of the candidates has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 26 years. The age will be calculated as of 1 July 2025. Also, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.

Application fee

To apply, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 250. This fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card, or net banking. Keep in mind that applications submitted without a fee payment will not be accepted.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected through several stages. It includes a written test first, then the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Apart from this, the final selection will be done on the basis of an endurance test and finally document verification.

How much salary will be given?

Under this recruitment, the selected candidates will be given a pay scale of Rs 18,200 to Rs 67,100, which has been fixed as per the post and rules.
