Many districts of Uttar Pradesh are facing heat these days, in such a situation, the District Magistrate has decided to close the schools keeping in mind the health of the children.
These days, a period of severe heat is being seen in many states of the country. It has become difficult for people to leave their homes. IMD has recently expressed the possibility of monsoon arriving early but no relief is seen for now. Meanwhile, news is coming that Meerut district of UP is also facing severe heat. In view of this, children have also been given relief.
DM took the decision
The District Magistrate of Meerut has issued a notice today and ordered everyone that the temperature in the district is reaching 40 degrees Celsius and heat wave is blowing. In such a situation, there is a possibility of heat stroke for the students going to school. There is a risk of dehydration and illness in children due to heat stroke, which can also cause loss of life. In such a situation, keeping in mind the health of the students, all CBSE/ICSE, UP Board, Madrasa Board, Sanskrit Board and other boards and all basic recognized schools from pre-nursery to class 12th are being closed in the district.
Till when will the schools remain closed?
DM VK Singh said, all schools from pre-nursery to class 12 will remain closed till May 31. After that, there will be summer vacation in schools for one month. If exams from 9th to 12th are being held in any school, then they will continue, otherwise students studying from 9th to 12th will have a holiday.
