Well, a bizarre incident took place during the ongoing PSL 2025 on Saturday, as a cricketer, James Vince, from the Karachi Kings was awarded a hair dryer after his match-winning knock against the Multan Sultans.

However, peculiar awards are not uncommon in the cricket world, and one such incident took place on Saturday during the PSL. James Vince, a player from Karachi who was awarded Man of the Match during the post-match presentation ceremony, found himself in an awkward situation when he was called into the dressing room for a sponsor giveaway.

Calling the English sportsperson the most reliable player of the match, he was presented with a hair dryer as a gift.

The right-hander chased 235 runs to win, especially at a crunch time when Karachi Kings were two wickets down already. Although he managed to hold a strong position, Karachi Kings kept on losing wickets at the other end before the team could score a 142-run stand in 68 balls with Khushdil Shah (60) for his fifth wicket to pull off the biggest run chase in PSL.

Meanwhile, James Vince managed to score 14 fours and four sixes and was run out for 101 in 43 balls. His powerplay performance led the England star the victory for Karachi Kings. Despite this, the player was gifted a hair dryer, which has left netizens laughing.
