Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India] October 26 (ANI): After the joyous celebration of Vikram Samvat 2082 New Year across Gujarat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the sacred occasion of the Shatchandi Mahayagna organised at Gozaria in Mehsana district by Umiya Mataji Mandir Trust and the entire Patidar community.
Extending his New Year greetings to all, the Chief Minister stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always says, "Development must happen, but with preservation of heritage," and that this mantra is the true path toward Viksit Bharat. Emphasising the importance of Yagnas, he said that only when science is combined with faith can we reach our destined goals.
Appreciating Gozaria's uniqueness, he said the village not only fulfils its own goals but also helps others achieve theirs.
Referring to the new wave of energy that has spread across the nation following the construction of the Ram Temple, the Chief Minister underlined Gujarat's pivotal role in nation-building.
He asserted that the goal of Viksit Bharat envisioned by the Prime Minister will be realised through Viksit Gujarat. He elaborated on the government's practical efforts to ensure that every village in Gujarat becomes developed and that every person from the remotest areas becomes part of the mainstream of development.
Highlighting the initiatives undertaken by the Gujarat government to accelerate economic growth further, the Chief Minister said the government has launched zone-wise Vibrant Conferences, with the first one recently held in North Gujarat.
The Chief Minister highlighted that as a result of this conference, investments exceeding three lakh crore have been made and more than 1200 MoUs have been signed. He urged the Gozaria village to make new resolutions in the new year and prayed to Umiya Mata for the fulfilment of all those resolutions.
On this occasion, Member of Parliament from Mehsana, Haribhai Patel, stated that wherever we may be in the country, our religious traditions must continue, as they instil spiritual and moral values in the younger generation. Broadening the definition of development, he emphasised that actual progress encompasses not only roads and infrastructure but also faith and cultural values.
Rajya Sabha MP Mayank Nayak congratulated the organisers for hosting the Shatchandi Mahayagna, which serves to inspire the younger generation to stay connected with Sanatan Dharma in this era of technology and artificial intelligence. He assured that, as an MP, he would continue to extend full support to the development of Gozaria and ensure that the village remains at the forefront of progress.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel offered prayers to Umiya Mata and also honoured the donors who contributed to the Mahayajna.
Mehsana MLA Mukesh Patel, Chairman of Mehsana District Bank Vinod Patel, Mehsana Collector S. K. Prajapati, President and Vice-President of Umiya Mataji Mandir Trust, other leaders of the Patidar community, and a large number of villagers were present at this religious and grand event of the Shatachandi Mahayagna.
