Popular African content creator Agu Stanley's recent video of recreating Rishabh Pant’s iconic somersault celebration has gone viral. The southpaw produced the celebration after returning to form with a brilliant century in the final league match of the IPL 2025 for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
After enduring an underwhelming season both as a batter and as captain, Pant ended his campaign with an unbeaten 118 off just 61 balls. Promoting himself up the order to No. 3 ahead of the in-form Nicholas Pooran, the 27-year-old wicketkeeper-batter hammered the RCB bowlers all over the park, smashing 11 fours and eight towering sixes.
However, the moment became more special with 's celebration after reaching the three-figure mark. Instead of just raising the bat, he performed a cartwheel. His previous century came way back in 2018 for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) against Sunrisers Hyderabad. This was also his maiden century in LSG colours and the first as captain in IPL. In the video posted by the creator saw he was recreating the entire celebration.

Despite the massive total of 227 set by Pant and his side, RCB pulled off a solid chase thanks to Jitesh Sharma’s heroics. The defeat saw LSG exit of IPL 2025 without reaching the playoffs. Meanwhile, Pant, the IPL's most expensive buy at INR 27 crore, came under immense criticism throughout the tournament for his poor form.
With only 151 runs in his first 12 innings at an average of just 13.73, many questioned whether the franchise had overpaid, as he finished the season with 269 runs in 13 innings. LSG outbid Punjab Kings and others for Pant’s services, hoping he would bring new perspective and star power after KL Rahul's release but it was not to be.
