The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released a revised Round 1 counselling schedule for NEET UG 2025 after recent delays. The updated timetable, issued on August 22, covers admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in state medical and dental colleges. As per the notice, the Round 1 seat allotment results will be published today (August 23) on the official portal — wbmcc.nic.in
The schedule had to be updated because the original counselling process was interrupted by administrative hurdles and technical glitches on the official website. These setbacks left thousands of candidates uncertain about their admissions. To streamline the process and avoid further academic delays, WBMCC released an addendum notice along with the revised dates.
