PSG overcome Arsenal
Paris Saint-Germain reached their second UEFA Champions League final after a composed 2-1 win over Arsenal in the second leg of their semifinal on Wednesday night, sealing a 3-1 aggregate victory. Goals from Fabian Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi, along with a commanding performance by goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, helped the French champions navigate a nervy start and ultimately outclass the Premier League side at Parc Des Princes.
PSG's 3-1 win over the two legs sets up a mouthwatering final in Munich on May 31 against Inter Milan, who edged out Barcelona 7-6 on aggregate in the other semifinal. Remarkably, this will be the first-ever European meeting between PSG and Inter and the first Champions League final between a French and Italian club since Marseille defeated AC Milan in 1993.
