The first two 2025 finalists have been revealed following a chaotic semi-final which saw the Golden Buzzer used for the first time. However, it wasn't all smooth sailing, as the show was thrown into chaos just moments in, as .
Out of tonight's seven semi-finalists, it was LED dance act The Blackouts and singer who emerged victorious, securing their place in the upcoming live final. There, they'll be battling it out for a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show, as well as a whopping £250,000 cash prize.

At the end of the show, it was revealed that Vinnie Mckee had received the most votes from the public and was the second finalist to be sent through to the live final. Speaking on the public's decision Vinnie said he was "flabbergasted," as he thanked his fans. "Thank you to every single person who’s supported me, this is mad, its crazy and I'm loving it," he continued.
It came following a dramatic final, which saw eight year old magician Teddy Magic 'pull out' live on air. Ant and Dec first announced that Teddy wasn't ready for his performance, leaving Simon Cowell fuming. The duo hinted that he eight-year-old star was battling nerves as they told viewers that he needed a little extra time to prepare himself ahead of performing on live prime time TV.
However, it was later , and would be participating in a future semi-final. Dec told the viewers: "[Teddy] wont be performing tonight but we hope to see him later on in the series," after Teddy was forced to delay his performance earlier in the episode.
Fans flooded social media with messages of support, and concern, about the young lad. One wrote on X: "We love you teddy. He’ll be back stronger than ever!" And another wrote: "What happened to poor little Teddy.#BGT."
It wasn't the only set back of the night, as Golden Buzzer act The Blackouts were also . The act's start time was delayed for a few minutes, with Ant and Dec having to cut to an unplanned chat with the judges instead.
Elsewhere in the show, controversial act - as fans predicted the star would be receiving more Ofcom complaints than his audition. "Ofcom's gonna be busy tonight," wrote one viewer, as another penned: "How is this allowed to go out on a family show at 8.15?"
The chaotic night followed a huge schedule shake-up for the show. Earlier this month, announced that the semi-finals will be which means that fans will get five extra weeks of Britain's Got Talent. In prior years, the semi-finals have aired consecutively during an intense week of back to back shows.
"Britain’s Got Talent will be more entertaining than ever before, not only with the addition of the Golden Buzzer for the live shows, but the semi-finals will now air live every Saturday night, claiming the weekends as the home of BGT," the broadcaster said.
"Be prepared for unpredictable, unmissable and unbeatable event television."
This now means that the final will be airing at a much later date than usual - with the 2025 series likely to crown its champion on Saturday 31 May. The BGT final has typically aired in June, however this year's series began much earlier as it kicked off in February instead of the usual April date.
