Chris entered the Love Island villa in 2017 as a late arrival and quickly won over Olivia, who had been paired with Sam Gowland. Chris and Olivia's relationship in the villa was nothing short of dramatic, from explosive rows and breakups, but they always found their way back to each other. They made it as Love Island finalists and appeared stronger than ever as they looked forward to a future together.
As they adjusted to life outside the villa, Chris was in full support of Olivia after she was branded 'fake' by radio DJ Melvin Odoom. Taking to X, formerly , he penned: "Olivia's the realist. People are still getting at her. Never understood judging people you've never met, cut her some slack man."
However, just seven months after sparking up a relationship, the couple called it quits. They reportedly ended things during a phone call, which came around the same as their own reality series, Chris and Olivia: Crackin' On, hits screens.
A source told the of their split: "Chris and Olivia have been arguing for a while. Chris knew that things were not right, so he finally decided to end things."
They added: "He did this last week via text. He knows it wasn't right to end things this way and that he should have done it face to face, but they've been arguing so much it was the easiest and quickest way of dealing with it."
Little Mix starFollowing his split from Olivia, Chris grabbed the spotlight with a highly publicised romance with former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson. In 2019, the duo caught the public's eye after sharing a sneaky smooch in a kebab shop, and by June of that year, they had publically announced their relationship on .
However, not long after their online declaration, things temporarily fizzled out between them before they quickly rekindled their romance, and onlookers noted their palpable chemistry. The couple seemed on track for a serious commitment, igniting engagement rumours just months after going official with their relationship.
In a social media post, Chris was even dubbed as Jesy's "future husband", prompting excitement among fans. Supportively, he also stood by Jesy's side as she navigated a tough chapter during the roll-out of her well-received documentary 'Odd One Out'. The documentary explored the life of Jesy, who's endured endless trolling over her looks ever since her breakthrough on The back in 2011.
Despite living it up with luxurious escapes and public displays of affection, the high-profile pair hit rocky terrain following an incident involving Chris and a paparazzo at the 2020 National Television Awards. Not long after and during the height of Covid in 2020, Jesy's representative confirmed she and Chris had gone their separate ways after 16 months together.
An insider told at the time: "Jesy and Chris split up a couple of weeks ago. It was all very amicable, and they're still really good friends. Jesy rang Chris and led the conversation about their relationship, and both agreed that it felt like it had run its course—they're both absolutely fine."
Although Chris and Jesy's breakup is described as friendly, the Love Island star initially acknowledged he found it hard to swallow. A year after their separation, he revealed to The Sun on Sunday: "It was a tough period in a lot of people's personal lives, and it was for me too, as breakups are never easy. It was difficult. Sometimes you just grow apart."
He further expressed: "There have definitely been days when I wake up and things haven't felt great. The period 12 months ago was really tough. There were days when I was waking up, and our split was the first thing I was thinking about." He added: "I was thinking, 'I hope I feel good today. I hope mentally I feel all right. I had to try my hardest mentally to break the cycle."

In August 2021, Chris announced he'd found new love with pro golfer Annabel Dimmock, claiming he'd never been smitten like this before. Speaking toafter their relationship became public, Chris gushed: "I met her [Annabel] on the course, spent a lot of time together and yes, it was lovely. We get on well with each other."
He added, "Obviously, I've met loads of girls over the last, however long, and you talk to people, but I've never got that buzz with anyone since my last relationship." Annabel has competed in the Ladies European Tour, the French Lalla Meryem Cup, and the 2019 Evian Championship.
However, after a year of dating, the pair decided to go their separate ways, with Chris revealing to The Sun that he was grappling with the fallout from yet another split.
