Conor McGregor's dreams come true as he meets 'hero' David Beckham on yacht trip

Conor McGregorhas sparked up an unlikely friendship with David Beckham after sharing a carousel of sweet images online and stating they are 'yacht neighbours'. The former UFC champion labelled David as a ‘big inspiration’ as the Beckhams' £16 million yacht pulled up.

Sharing some snaps on Instagram for his 46.6million followers, Conor, 37, posed up a storm next to David, as well as snapping some pictures with Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 22.

Conor was all smiles as he wrote the caption: “" David Beckham, what a guy! Great to meet you and the fam finally, a big inspiration for me growing up! The Beckham dynasty, an absolute powerhouse that COMMANDS FULL RESPECT! #YachtNeighbours".

Conor also showed off a video where David’s huge luxury £16million pulled up alongside his own yacht. David’s yacht had ‘Seven’ written on it which is a reference to the number 7 shirt he wore when he played for Manchester United. David and Victoria have been enjoying a summer holiday on the Amalfi Coast and they were seen soaking up the sun on board the famous yacht. They have also been spotted at a restaurant along the coast.

There was a loved-up display from David and Victoriawhilst on a vacation abroad together. The couple looked cosy at a restaurant in Italy, where they were joined by three of their children for lunch.

Photos show them dining at Lo Scoglio with their youngest kids Romeo, Cruz, and Harper Beckham, 14.

The photos, obtained by the Sun, show David and Victoria being affectionate towards each other whilst sat a table with their family.

Victoria is seen with her hand gently against his face in another, as the couple looked into each other's eyes. Whilst one photo shows them kissing. The couple are said to have been seen laughing and joking at the restaurant too.

Conor and David’s meet-up follows Conor’s potential UFC comeback, which could take place in July next year after Donald Trump expressed his plan to host a UFC event on the grounds of the White House in front of up to 25,000 fans.

Following Trump's announcement, many fighters were quick to offer their services to compete on the card, including McGregor. In a post uploaded to social media and posted: "Happy 4th of July, USA. Excited with President Trump announcing a UFC fight event at the White House! I would be honoured! Count me in!!"
