Davina McCall'spartner, Michael Douglas, revealed their future wedding plans while walking the red carpet at the National Television Awards.
The couple have known each other for decades as he originally styled Davina's hair during her Big Brother presenting days. Over time, they developed a deeper bond than a typical hairdresser and client. Michael started regularly bring his children over to Davina's house when he came round to fix up her locks, and the pair considered themselves “family friends”.
Davina split up with her ex-husband Matthew Robertson in 2017, but she didn't start dating Michael until two years later. When she was asked how their relationship went from platonic to romantic, she said it was a gradual process.

Fans have been hoping for updates on their relationship and Michael kept them on their toes during a chat with The Mirror at the NTAs on Wednesday evening.
“There could be wedding bells on the way, who knows, I’m not going anywhere else if that’s why you mean. But we’re in no rush for any of that, we just enjoy each others company," he explained.
Michael has been by her side through it all, including Davina’s health battle last year. In November, the presenter needed a craniotomy to remove a benign colloid cyst from her brain.

The rare tumour was discovered during a routine menopause health scan, and posed the frightening risk of sudden death if left untreated.
While the operation was successful, Davina temporarily suffered from short-term memory loss, which she admits tested her relationship.
Davina said she and Michael practise "radical honesty", which once led him to admit he found her “annoying” at times during her recovery.
After a final MRI scan earlier this year, she learned her tumour wasn't returned and she was able to return to work hosting ITV's Long Lost Family.
She credits Michael with supporting her through the ordeal and encouraging her to return to filming when she was ready.
The couple’s bond has only become stronger since the operation, but despite public speculation, they aren’t in a hurry to tie the knot. When quizzed about it, Davina smiled: “We’re in no rush. We’re really happy.”
