Emmerdale's Mackenzie Boyd 'to be killed off' in harrowing scenes already filmed

An Emmerdale character will reportedly be killed off in the coming weeks, with killer John Sugden said to strike again. John will turn serial killer it seems after past deaths including Nate Robinson and the hinted demise of Aidan Moore, not to mention him leaving Owen for dead to frame him for his crimes.

Now, a report claims Mackenzie Boyd is next to lose his life on the ITV soap, while Emmerdale are not commenting on the claims. It's claimed Mack will get closer to the truth about villain John and will ultimately lose his life in dark and tense episodes.

It comes after it was teased"life-changing" scenes were on the way this September for Mack and best pal Aaron Dingle who happens to be John's husband. Now it's stated that Mack is leaving the show after five years with actor Lawrence Robb thought to be bowing out of the show, with scenes already filmed.

It comes amid Mack's wife Charity Dingle sharing a shock kiss with her ex Vanessa Woodfield this week. It left fans wondering what would be of her marriage to Mack, hoping for a Vanity reunion.

While that doesn't seem to be happening for now, could Vanessa be a shoulder to lean on for a grieving Charity if Mack is revealed to die? Could this be what leads to a reunion if one ends up being on the cards?

Back to Mack, and his death, if true, will no doubt spark mass grief in the village for his sister Moira Dingle and her husband Cain Dingle, who are still coming to terms with the murder of his son Nate, also killed by John. It's claimed Mack will find something out about John and it will lead to the latter deciding to silence him.

According to The Sun, the scenes will be "harrowing" and Mack will meet a grisly end. They clam fans will be "on their edge of the seats", likely less so now it's been leaked if confirmed to be true.

The scenes, they claim, will air later this year, no doubt tying in with the big plot soap producer Laura Shaw had hinted at to The Mirror earlier this year. They also claim this latest twist will see the storyline go on "for months and months".

As we say, the show have not confirmed the plot, no doubt wanting fans to see twists play out onscreen. Lawrence is reported to have already filmed his death scenes.

It was only a matter of months ago that Mack was onto villain John, leading to John framing him for the slurry leak on the farm. Mack dropped his vendetta against the character deciding he was a good person, but it seems something leads to him realising this isn't the case.
