The Ryder Cup is almost upon us, and golf fans worldwide will be eager to see whether Team Europe or Team USA hold the best players at this year's event. The team competition gets underway at Bethpage Black in New York come Friday, September 26.
And as a result, players from around the world have flew in stateside to get settled and put the finishing touches on their approach for the tournament. Many of whom have been joined by their respective partners in a showing of support, who will be eager to see their beaus succeed on the greens and fairways.
But who have Team Europe brought with them to cheer them on every step of the way? And what do we know about them? Here, Mirror Sport breaks it down...

Luke Donald and Diane AntonopoulosTeam Europe captain, Luke Donald, is joined by Diane Antonopoulos, who he first met during his college years at the Northwestern University in Illinois. The two married in June 2007 in Santorini, Greece, and share three daughters with one another.
While she will not be driving off the tees and putting on the greens this weekend, Antonopoulos has also been heavily involved in Team Europe's tournament in the build-up. For example, she has managed a number of events connected to the competition, and even took to social media earlier this year to reveal that she had planned a dinner for her husband and his team.
Rory McIlroy and Erica StollRory McIlroy is joined by his wife of eight years at Bethpage Black in Erica Stoll. The former PGA office manager and manager of championship volunteer operations first met McIlroy at the 2012 Ryder Cup, but did not start dating until 2014.
However, their relationship has been far from plain sailing in recent years. In May 2024, McIlroy filed for divorce from Stoll, before the couple reconciled and worked through their differences, calling off the separation just weeks later.
Stoll and McIlroy have since been spotted together at a number of PGA Tour events and major championships, with Stoll famously by his side for his Career Grand Slam win at Augusta National earlier this year. They also recently settled in a new home together in the lavish Wentworth estate in Surrey.
Ludvig Aberg and Olivia PeetWhile Ludvig Aberg prefers to keep his personal life under wraps, many fans of the Swede will know that he is in a relationship with Manchester-born Olivia Peet. The pair first met while studying at Texas Tech University, and appeared publicly for the first time at the Ryder Cup of 2023.
Peet's father is also former professional tennis star, Chris Peet, who was ranked in both the singles and doubles game. His daughter also played the sport turing her college years, reaching a career best of 115th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings.
Matt Fitzpatrick and Katherine GaalMatt Fitzpatrick's romance with Katherine Gaal is a whirlwind to say the least. The two met just months after he won his first major golfing title in the 2022 US Open, went public with their relationship in January 2023, and were engaged by the end of the year.

The two then married last October. With a major in finance and broadcast journalism from Pennsylvania State University, Gaal currently works as a regional marketing manager across the south east of the United States, but has previously worked in data protection and management.
Tommy Fleetwood and Clare CraigTommy Fleetwood has been married to Clare Craig since 2017, but their relationship almost never got off the ground. The two initially became close when Fleetwood switched to Hambric for management in 2015, with Clare later becoming his manager.
While Fleetwood tried to ask Clare out "a few times", she initially turned him down given she is 23 years his senior. Speaking on the Performance People podcast she said: "Of course, I turned him down. I was like, 'Don't be stupid.'"
However, the two eventually started dating one another, and found themselves engaged and married in 2017. Clare still remains Fleetwood's manager, with the 34-year-old winning the first PGA Tour event of his career earlier this year at the TOUR Championship in August.
Tyrrell Hatton and Emily BraisherWhile it is unknown exactly when Tyrrell Hatton and Emily Braisher met, the two became engaged in 2019 and tied the knot two years later. A graduate of Nottingham Trent University, Braisher used to run a 'Wife On Tour' blog where she shared her thoughts and feelings on golf, as well as details of her relationship with Hatton - however, she has since stepped away from it.
The happy couple have been spotted alongside one another on tour for a number of years, and have also been side-by-side at the Ryder Cup in 2018, 2021 and 2023.
Rasmus Hojgaard and Julie Sander DanielsenAlso maintaining an incredibly private life away from the greens and fairways, Rasmus Hojgaard has been spotted with girlfriend, Julie Sander Danielsen, celebrating at events and on social media. Originally from Denmark, it is unclear as to how long Danielsen has dated Hojgaard, but they appear together on her Instagram as far back at 2019.
Viktor HovlandAs per reports, Viktor Hovland is currently single, and was not pictured with a date during the official Team Europe photo ceremony. While it is not confirmed, if he does currently have a partner, he is keeping them under wraps for the time being.
Shane Lowry and Wendy HonnerShane Lowry has been married to Wendy Honner since 2016, and the couple share two daughters together in Iris and Ivy. The two initially met during a night out in 2012, with Honner previously working as a nurse at Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin.
While the two married in New York and live in South Florida, near close friend McIlroy, the two also have a home in the Irish capital.
While there is little known about Shannon Hartley, it is believed that she studied at Glasgow Caledonian University and currently works as a nurse for the NHS. She first appeared on Robert MacIntyre's social media in July 2013, as the Scot fine-tuned his approach for the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.
Jon Rahm and Kelley CahillLIV Golf sensation Jon Rahm has been married to Kelley Cahill since 2019, and the two have three kids with one another. The Spaniard initially started dating Cahill when they were both students at Arizona State University, first meeting at a Halloween party.
Meanwhile, Cahill was also involved in sports during her college days as a keen javelinist on the university's track and field team. She has watched her husband compete on the course since their college days, and is expected to be a rock for Rahm at the Ryder Cup.
Justin Rose and Kate PhillipsJustin Rose has been married to wife Kate Phillips for the best part of two decades, after initially striking up a romance in the early 2000s. Fast forward to 2025, and the happy couple share two children together in son, Leo, and daughter, Charlotte.

Rose and Phillips founded the Kate and Justin Rose Foundation together in 2009, to support children living in poverty in Central Florida, but she has also worked as a board director for the PGA Tour Wives Association.
Sepp Straka and Paige DeanSepp Straka and Paige Dean first met when their respective college football teams played one another in 2017, with a romance instantly blooming. The two became engaged in 2020, and married the following year.
The two then welcomed their son, Leo, in December 2023. Dean currently works as a senior acquisitions manager for Southern Veterinary Partners, but regularly attends Straka's events worldwide to show her support.
