A mysterious geological formation has sat high up in mountain tops for centuries, if not millennia, but scientists believe it could hold the remains of the biblical . According to the , the huge vessel carried two of every species to spare humanity and the animal kingdom from a calamitous flood 4,300 years ago.
No evidence of the ark has ever been found and verified but a team of American researchers in believe they could have bombshell proof to say the biblical story is true. at the site of the Durupinar Formation, near , say they have made a discovery that could change everything.
The American researchers claimed they have found proof of angular structures and a deep void in the mountain, that could line up with the supposed ark's story. A researchers with Noah's Ark Scans used radars that penetrated the ground in the mountainous region to detect a bombshell tunnel.

Andrew Jones, an independent researcher with the group, said they discovered a 13-foot tunnel and three layers, below the ground, which would match a description of the ark from the bible.
The Book of Genesis 6:16 wrote that Noah's Ark had three floors, saying: "Make a roof for the ark, and finish it to a cubit above, and set the door of the ark in its side. Make it with lower, second, and third decks."
Jones spoke to the Christian Broadcasting Network and said: "We're not expecting something that's fully preserved. What's left is the chemical imprint, pieces of wood and in the ground, the shape of a hall."

He also shared images of these scans and explained that these angular structures that have discovered - that are as deep as 20 feet below the ground - could be have been rooms below a deck on the vessel.
The Book of Genesis 6:14 wrote: "Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.'" Jones said: "This is not what you'd expect to see if the site were simply a solid block of rock or the result of random mudflow debris." The formation on Mount Ararat has long been a debated spot for the potential remains of Noah's Ark.
Despite these claims from the Noah's Ark Scans team, some scientists believe these structures could be natural formations. It comes after scientists last year proposed the creation of a 'lunar ark' filled with frozen endangered animals as a safeguard against
The potential for disasters such as nuclear war, climate change and deadly pandemics pose a significant threat to humanity's existence on Earth. In response to these existential threats to Earth's biodiversity, scientists from the American Institute of Biological Sciences have suggested establishing a mission on the , according to a recent article.
Pollinators, endangered species like the African savannah elephant, and "culturally important animals" are among the first identified as potential candidates. The expert team proposes sending frozen samples of animal tissue into space to prevent total extinction.
These could then be returned to Earth to create new life or transported to other planets as human efforts to colonise the cosmos advance, The Times reported.
