It was Daisy's mother Christina Boyd who is heading back to the show next week, as announced by earlier this year. New spoilers have confirmed when she's back and what she has in store for Jenny. Christina wasted no time in giving Jenny a piece of her mind and making her presence felt, and soon Daisy and her mother's plan is revealed. They reel her in as Jenny reveals she's met someone named Dom on a dating app, with flowers arriving for her.

But it's Christina sending the messages, and Daisy is worried Jenny will figure it out. So how far will the women go to destroy Jenny, and can Jenny ever forgive them when she finds out? It paves the way for Daisy's exit from the ITV soap, so there's every chance it will sever ties forever. The confirmed back in January that Christina would be back to ruffle feathers in spring.

The comeback is set to tie in with actress Charlotte Jordan's departure later this year as Daisy. We revealed that actress Amy Robbins would be reprising the role, and she was filming weeks ago. Christina will be back on screens for a few months, so perhaps this could be an indication of when Daisy might bid farewell.

An insider told us in January: "Christina's return certainly causes drama and she's going to be ruffling some feathers throughout her time on the Cobbles. It's a brilliant storyline for Christina and Daisy in what will be some of Charlotte's final months on screen.

"It'll be sad to say Daisy leave the show, but we've got a few months of Christina causing all kinds of chaos before then. The cast are thrilled to welcome Amy back to the show in what will no doubt be a big storyline for the pair."
