Jude Bellingham has 'training bust-up' with Real Madrid team-mate before Arsenal clash

Spanish outlet report that an incident took place last week before Real travelled to face Deportivo Alaves in a crucial match for their title hopes. Bellingham is claimed to have been furious with a tackle by Rudiger during a small-sided game which had to be stopped in order to separate the pair.

While Rudiger started the match and helped Los Blancos keep a clean sheet, Bellingham came off the bench in the 63rd minute. The midfielder was being rested in light of the Arsenal game but his presence was needed to help Real preserve their lead.

With the win, Madrid moved back within four points of league leaders , who they still have left to play. Their focus at the moment is on beating Arsenal, needing to score at least three goals to stand a chance of recovering from their nightmare first leg.

"We were nowhere near it," Bellingham told . "That's the fact and Arsenal were really good. I know two of their goals were free-kicks but they could have had way more. They're two great pieces of individual quality and if it wasn't for them, they still have other chances.

"We got punished and that happens at top-level football. In these games, you need to create more. Very rarely do you come to a place like this, score one goal and take your lead back home. They reacted really well to the transition. We didn't do enough on the ball to threaten. We're still alive, we've got 90 minutes of football and anything can happen at the Bernabeu."
