bride became one of the most controversial brides on Married At First Sight . With her no-nonsense attitude, unfiltered opinions and savage vows, Lauren quickly became one of the most talked about MAFS contestants.

The 37-year-old business owner had a far-from-smooth sailing time on the show. After her first failed with groom Elliot, Lauren got married not once but twice. For her second marriage on the show, Lauren was paired up with Clint, and it's clear she became burnt out after she and Clint dramatically left the show during the couple's retreat.

Lauren, who calls herself an 'old soul' had 'no interest' in her co-stars on the show, and said she felt like she 'was in high school' which made her and Clint decide to leave. After slamming all of the MAFS cast as "boganic", where is Lauren now? And are she and Clint still on good terms?

After making a sensational return for a second attempt at love, Lauren walked down the aisle to Clint Rice, 43. However, Clint opened up about his wife's 'demands' for returning to the show. Clint told he had to "step in" and "force some things to happen," such as getting a bigger room like "she was promised."

Clint said the couple were placed in a small studio apartment, which Clint had said "wasn't ideal," and had to put their foot down for a two-bedroom apartment, which they got in the end.

He said, "We put our foot down for a two-bedroom, and we got it in the end. I was okay to stay anywhere, but I live in a house that's 550 square meters, so a studio apartment for potentially two months might not have been that much fun."

Since the pair came in later than the rest, they had to play catch up with their feelings compared to the original couples, but Lauren quickly became extremely outspoken and voiced her opinions about her partner. Lauren stunned the experts and fellow MAFS couples when she admitted she didn't find Clint "manly enough" after she saw him doing his own laundry.

Lauren said she saw herself as a 'homemaker' and believed in traditional gender roles, so when she saw her husband doing his own housework, she was horrified. She also made remarks about Clint's choices in the controversial photo ranking task.

Clint revealed that he found fellow bride Jacqui attractive, which did not sit well with Lauren. "I've learned that he likes scruffy women who have a strong drive in career," she told the camera. Lauren later said she did not think Clint was 'alpha' enough for her because of his penchant for spray tans and a shaved chest.

Sadly it didn't work out for the couple, after they left the experiment after the couple's retreat, but despite their challenges, Clint has no hard feelings towards Lauren, and accepts she had a tough time on the show after her marriage to Eliot ended in humiliation. Ex-pro golfer Clint called Lauren a "good person" who was in an environment where she "wasn't comfortable".

"She definitely had a guard up, wondering if she was going to get humiliated again or be left with undelivered promises that would make her feel uncomfortable. Loz is a great person, and she's obviously burnt out from the show. She had a tough start with Eliot and being humiliated, then coming back in," he said.

Looking back on their time in the experiment, Clint admitted that he and Lauren had felt like outsiders within the group. He further told The Mail: "I think the group turned on us because they could see we didn't want to hang out with them. They thought we were better than them, but that wasn't the case. We just didn't enjoy the yelling and raised voices."

The couple stayed out of the drama and said they would have preferred an alternative escape to the couple's retreat, as Clint said they wanted to get an Airbnb down the road and "drink margaritas and eat prawns and oysters".

Ahead of the couple's retreat, Lauren made it clear her feelings about spending time with the other brides and having no interest spending time with the others. She brutally said: "Awhina's going to be screaming, her nylon hair extensions are going to be blowing in the wind...Adrian's probably going to be attempting to speak."

Things went south after Lauren started arguing with Jamie during the girls' meet-up at the retreat. Lauren stormed off, calling the group "feral" and "wild animals" before adding: "The bogans just keep boganing with their boganic ways." After the retreat, the couple didn't go to the next dinner party, and revealed that they'd be leaving at the Commitment Ceremony.

At the time of their exit, they spoke about continuing their friendship on the outside with the possibility of it blossoming into something else, but it wasn't meant to be, and Clint is now in a relationship with bride Jacqui. The pair started dating after filming ended in November 2024 and now live together in Tasmania.

While it's unclear if Lauren is in a new relationship, she has been spotted out with friends in Sydney, most recently on a luxury yacht in a glamorous swimsuit.
