Former Manchester United star has been cautioned by police after an incident at his 50th birthday party in January. Police had been investigating allegations that a headbutt had left a security guard with a broken nose.
Guests at the former midfielder's bash included David and , plus Class of '92 pals Paul Scholes and . Cops subsequently questioned witnesses and scoured CCTV footage following the incident at Soho Farmhouse near Great Tew, Oxfordshire.
According Butt has accepted the criminal sanction for actual bodily harm. He has also agreed to donate to charity. A caution can only be given if the perpetrator admits the offence.
said: “The investigation has now concluded. A man was given a caution for the offence of ABH.”
Thames Valley Police previously said they received a report of the alleged assault at 9.15pm on Friday January 24. Officers then turned up at the members-only club, which also offers £800-a-night cabins.

Butt, who made 270 appearances for United and won a host of trophies under the tutelage of Sir - as well as winning 39 England caps, turned 50 on Tuesday January 21. He had invited friends, including Manchester United legends, to his gathering at the upmarket venue three days later.
