The mother of 's youngest child has been accused of trying to cash in on the singer's Liza Ghorbani, who shares 12-year-old daughter Gemma with the rocker, is reportedly claiming nearly £500,000 annually for maintenance, a courtroom heard.
Since a 2015 order, the former Oasis lead has already parted with over $1 million (£738,000). Subsequently, after learning of Gemma's autism diagnosis, Liam agreed to an additional $240,000 (£177,000) for her schooling and support in 2021.
It's now reported that Ms Ghorbani now seeks approximately $670,000 (£495,000) per annum from the Wonderwall hitmaker for basic upkeep and further outlays. She is now reportedly seeking $420,000 each year for day-to-day child support, plus an extra lump sum of $250,000.

Liam, who is father to three older children, conceived his youngest while still married to Nicole Appleton. His extra-marital affair was revealed in April 2014 when Ms Ghorbani's was made public.

The Sun reports that during the latest hearing at New York's Supreme Court, Liam's representation Judy Poller said Ms Ghorbani's side is "seeking this money because Mr Gallagher is about to endeavour on a new musical adventure" - referring to Liam's lucrative upcoming reunion tour with brother Noel Gallagher.
She added: "She is looking for $30,000-a-month residence so she can have a pool, $100,000-a-year live-in nanny, a vacation budget of $6,300. These expenses are not appropriate. This was never an intact family that had a lifestyle."
Ms Ghorbani's solicitor, Amanda Creegan, expressed concern that Gemma's needs are falling to the wayside. Creegan claimed in court that Liam - who was present via videolink - has neither met nor shown any intention of meeting Gemma, adding "he doesn't talk to her, doesn't acknowledge her".
She also lambasted Liam for allegedly deceiving them about prior fee settlements. Creegan stated: "About three days after she filed for the modification motion, he went on an X rant, where he called her a 'gold-digger' and he accused her of shaking him down, and lied about how much he was paying her, and violated the confidentiality agreement."
Judge Jeffrey Pearlman was optimistic about reaching a resolution and earmarked June 13 for a confidential session. When enquired if he could make it on the set date, Liam confirmed: "Yeah, I'm good for that, any time." Upon querying about the timing difference in the UK, he followed up with: "That's all good, man. It's cool."
Liam and his brother Noel, who split in 2009 prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival, confirmed their long-awaited Oasis reunion in August 2024.
The band will first take to the stage for two performances at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4. The UK and Ireland tour will also visit Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin’s Croke Park throughout July, August and September.
