Rajasthan Congress Revamps District Committees: PCC Forms 10 New DCC Units – Full List Inside

In a major organizational shake-up, the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) has approved the formation of 10 new District Congress Committees (DCCs) across the state. The announcement was made late Monday evening by RPCC President Govind Singh Dotasra, signaling the party’s strategy to strengthen grassroots-level leadership ahead of upcoming local body and panchayat elections.

With these changes, the total number of DCC units in Rajasthan has now increased to 50, and the new structure will come into effect immediately.

🆕 Newly Formed DCC Units and Their Assembly Segments:
  • Alwar DCC – Thanagazi, Alwar Rural, Alwar City, Ramgarh, Rajgarh-Laxmangarh, Kathumar

  • Bharatpur DCC – Bharatpur, Nadbai, Weir, Bayana

  • Ajmer Rural DCC – Kishangarh, Pushkar, Nasirabad, Kekri

  • Pali DCC – Pali, Marwar Junction, Bali, Sumerpur, Sojat

  • Nagaur DCC – Jayal, Nagaur, Khimsar, Merta, Degana

  • Jodhpur Rural DCC – Shergarh, Osian, Bhopalgarh, Luni, Bhalara

  • Barmer DCC – Sheo, Barmer, Gudamalani, Chohtan

  • Udaipur Rural DCC – Gogunda, Jhadol, Kherwara, Udaipur Rural, Mavli, Vallabhnagar

  • Sikar DCC – Fatehpur, Laxmangarh, Dhod, Sikar, Dantaramgarh

  • Bhilwara Rural DCC – Asind, Mandal, Sahada, Shahpura, Mandalgarh, Jahazpur

    This restructuring move is being seen as a strategic step to reinforce the Congress’s organizational base at the district level. By offering greater representation to local leadership, the party aims to activate its presence more efficiently in both urban and rural constituencies.
