Cuttack: Bhubaneswar Tigers and Cuttack Panthers will kick off the inaugural Odisha Pro T20 League with a high-voltage clash at Barabati Stadium on Wednesday, from 7 pm.
The two teams will be led by Odisha’s Ranji Trophy players Suryakant Pradhan and Swastik Samal, respectively.
The league, organised by Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) in partnership with Arivaa Sports, will be played on a round-robin basis, with all six teams playing the other once. The top four teams will qualify for the semifinals, where No. 1 ranked team will face No. 4, and No. 2 will go up against No. 3.
Both semifinals will be played on September 25 (from 2 pm and 7 pm), and the final has been scheduled for September 26 (7 pm).
Except for the opening day, two matches will be held every day – from 2 pm and 7 pm.
