star Millie Radford was hit with a travel disaster after being "rejected" from boarding a US-bound flight with her family.
The 23-year-old found herself stuck at Gatwick Airport with her two older children, Ophelia and Chester, who were not allowed on the plane due to out-of-date ESTAs, necessary documentation for US visits without a Visa. In contrast, one of her children managed to board with grandmother Sue Radford, leaving Millie desperately separated from daughter Elodie.
In the midst of the confusion, an Instagram Story from Millie showed her son, Chester, playing with a toy on the airport floor, with the heart-wrenching caption: "So glad he doesn't understand this disaster we are having."
Millie also posted an urgent reminder for her fans to check their travel paperwork, revealing the oversight that prevented their flight as she said: "Guys let this be your reminder to double check your ESTA because mine, Chester and Ophelia's had [run] out and we (were) rejected being allowed on our flight today to America, and Harley and Elodie (were) able to get onto the flight."
Thankfully, the family managed to reapply for their ESTAs in time for a flight the next day, and Millie gratefully noted that her father stayed behind to help navigate the chaos, even as they trekked to a different airport from Gatwick, reports .
Millie rounded off her updates with a photo of young Elodie happily in the embrace of Sue Radford, who is 50, pulled from Sue's social media.
The post shared: "I'm fine mummy don't worry I was such a (good) girl on the flight." She proudly captioned the picture: "My little princess. Super nan."
It comes as last month, the Radford family faced another unexpected challenge when Harley Passmore was suddenly rushed to hospital just prior to Sue's birthday celebrations.
Harley took to social media after the health alarm to provide an update, telling his followers he is "glad to be back to normal". Initially, Harley had been diagnosed with Bell's palsy by doctors which led to sudden weakness in one side of his face.
He followed doctors' advice and took ample rest; however, on March 16, his condition worsened significantly. "But yesterday my arm/leg went numb and weak on my left side so I had to be rushed to hospital," Harley disclosed on his online platforms.
Given that Bell's palsy typically only affects the facial muscles, his symptoms raised immediate concern among medical professionals. "They said that bell palsy shouldn't go to your body so they thought I had a mini stroke," he elaborated in his post.
This necessitated a swift trip to the hospital for thorough investigations. Harley spent a night in the medical facility while doctors carried out extensive tests, including an MRI scan.
Fortunately, the series of examinations yielded positive results; the medical team concluded that Harley had not suffered a mini-stroke.
