BBC Breakfast appeared to be hit by tehcnical issues during the latest live episidoe of the morning programme.
During Wednesday (August 13) show, which had people switching off earlier this week, presenters Jon Kay and Sarah Campbell were detailing the latest headlines to viewers.
However, when it was time to hand over to Carol Kirkwood to get the weather forecast, things didn't go to plan.
Jon commented: "Carol has the weather for us this morning. Hi Carol, is this sunshine going to continue for many?"
She replied: "Yes, it is today, Jon. Good morning to you both, and good morning to you too. Yesterday we reached-"
Although as the BBC star started to speak, there were some issues with her mic, and people were unable to hear her properly, causing Jon to intervene.
Cutting back to Jon in the studio, he said: "Carol, I'm sorry, Carol, we've got a little bit of interference on Carol's microphone there. We'll sort that out and we'll get back to her very soon.
"It sometimes happens, gremlins get involved. Maybe it's the heat?! Maybe it's the hot weather interfering."
Luckily, the slight technical issue was quickly solved as they returned to Carol later on in the show.
Jon informed viewers: "Delighted to say we can rejoin Carol. Carol, we don't mind not hearing you when the weather is bad! But when the weather is good we want to hear every word."
The 63-year-old then continued with the weather forecast, explaining that the highest temperatures today would be in the North, close to Yorkshire where it could get up to 33 degrees.
Earlier this week, Carol left her colleagues speechless as she detailed the role she used to have before joining the BBC.
On Monday's show, Jon asked Carol about the jobs that she had when she was a teenager to earn a bit of extra money during the summer break.
She replied: "Yes, I did. I worked as a housemaid, as a waitress, as a receptionist, all these things!"

Joking that she had done 'everything', Carol also revealed she was a postwoman as well.
Clearly shocked, Jon responded: "A post woman?! You didn't used to predict the weather for your neighbours? That kind of thing?"
She replied: "No, but you know, you used to go in the mornings, you'd smell toast, bacon, sausages. Ooh, it'd make you hungry!"
