BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans fume over 'unnecessary' change as second couple leave show

Strictly Come dancing returned to screens for the results show on Sunday October 12 as another couple lkeft the show following the dreaded dance off. However some viewers were too distracted by the new format of the show to focus on what was happening on screen with many taking to X to complain.

"Honestly what were the producers thinking with this results show structure? Change it back #Strictly," one fumed. "I do not like the new format of #Strictly results show. If they want to freshen it up, I'd suggest having it live late Saturday night (as spoilers ruin it) and then make Sunday an It Takes Two-style show but with dances & repeat of the dance off/results," a second suggested. A third simply said: "This new way to announce the bottom 2 is so dumb and unnecessary. why fix something that isn't broken?"A fourth chimed in:" Dear @bbcstrictly please put the results format and music back how they were at year, it wasn't broken, this isn't an improvement." Meanwhile a fifth commented: "New results show format features the judges way too much #Strictly."
