Man Utd could agree four transfers before Arsenal including Benjamin Sesko

Manchester United will return to the UK from their pre-season tour of the United States imminently, which should trigger further activity in the transfer market. Chief executive Omar Berrada insists that a recruitment team back home was "working around the clock" on new additions while United were away, but now is the time to close those deals.

The Red Devils host Arsenal at Old Trafford in less than two weeks at the start of another Premier League season. Ruben Amorim is delighted with the captures of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, but will want more than two arrivals. Bruno Fernandes has publicly made it clear that he feels the same.

Benjamin Sesko is set to decide on his preferred destination as he prepares to leave RB Leipzig for the Premier League.

Manchester United and Newcastle United are battling for the 22-year-old striker's signature, with the latter already seeing a bid worth £70million rejected.

Should Sesko opt for an Old Trafford switch, a deal could be sealed quickly after Leipzig made their financial demands clear.

The Slovenian's arrival could also trigger a departure outside of Amorim's four-player 'bomb squad' still exiled at Carrington.

Rasmus Hojlund

Rasmus Hojlund has laid out his plans. He wants to stay at United and fight for his place, and hasn't been told he is surplus to requirements... yet.

The signing of Sesko would change things. With no European football on offer this season, minutes would be limited ahead of next summer's 2026 World Cup.

Leipzig reportedly want Hojlund as part of the agreement for Sesko, and United would likely be keen to include him if it knocks the transfer fee down.

The 22-year-old is thought to have more suitors elsewhere, though, and should be able to find an escape route quickly if he slips down the pecking order.

Senne Lammens

Altay Bayindir's shaky performance against Everton in Atlanta on Sunday reaffirmed a major concern about United's goalkeeper situation.

Andre Onana has also yet to convince, and Amorim does reportedly want to sign a new goalkeeper if his budget allows.

United are among the admirers of Royal Antwerp's Senne Lammens, who is said to be available for around £15m this summer.

It would be worth taking a punt on the 23-year-old Belgian before more goalkeeper mistakes cost Amorim dearly.

Alejandro Garnacho

As the Premier League season nears, the closer Chelsea's inevitable approach for Alejandro Garnacho looms.

Garnacho is waiting for a move to Stamford Bridge after deciding he wants to remain in the Premier League.

Given his desire, personal terms wouldn't be a problem, and Chelsea would be able to wrap up negotiations quickly if they meet United's asking price.

Should the Blues struggle to pay up, the 21-year-old winger will have options elsewhere.
