BBC viewers tuning in to watch the live Eurovision semi-final tonight (May 15) were left distracted by an unusual outfit that appeared on-screen just minutes in.
The show was co-hosted by comedian Hazel Brugger and Swiss singer Sandra Studer. While Sandra wore a glittery black ensemble for hosting duties, Hazel opted for an otherworldy look, donning a floor-length, iridescent silver dress that featured large plastic discs all over it.
Viewers were quick to offer their thoughts on the ensemble on social media, with one scathing remark reading: "The comedian on the left is if AI came up with a Eurovision presenter."
Another viewer asked: "What the f*** is that presenter wearing on the #Eurovision semi-final show?", as a third simply asked: "Hazel why this dress?"
