Guwahati: A team of police officers from the Fatasil Ambari police station arrested members of a vehicle-lifting gang on Saturday night and recovered nine stolen vehicles from them.
The arrested members have been identified as Ganesh Mahato (19) and Dipmoni Bora (19), both residents of the city's Garchuk area; Avinash Boro (19) and Sourabh Deka (19), who hail from Fatasil Ambari; Ebadul Haque (21) and Rahul Bhorali (24), both from Hajo town, and Sanjib Deka (19), a resident of Kamalpur.
