Jaisalmer: Police in Barmer arrested three men for flying a drone near Jalipa Army Station Monday. Two more youths were detained Tuesday for taking photographs at the Air Force museum, and another individual from Assam was apprehended on suspicion. All six are being held at the CID office, where police and security agencies are interrogating them, ASP Jasaram Bose said.
Bose said Barmer Rural police station detained the three young men Monday evening and upon questioning them, Shubham, 26, and Kirtish, residents of New Delhi, described themselves as digital promoters who were producing a promotional video for the new Karni Vihar Colony situated near the Army station. The third person, Raftaar, 30, said he was a resident of Balotra and worked as a drone photographer. Police seized the drone and arrested them on charges of disturbing the peace.
