Man stabbed to death in Bundi, 9 booked

Kota: A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death in a scuffle that broke out on the DJ dance floor at a wedding function in Laxmipura village, under Nainwan police station, in Bundi district Monday night. The deceased, Khushiram Meena, resident of Arenia village in Bundi, had come to visit his sister in Laxmipura.

Police have registered a case of murder against nine identified accused. DSP Rajulal Meena stated that all of them are absconding and police are searching for them. Meena said a wedding function was taking place in the neighbourhood where Khushiram was dancing to a DJ song.

An argument erupted regarding the song the DJ should play, following which 9 people attacked Khushiram with sticks and a knife, inflicting fatal injuries. TNN
