Tassnim Sheikh came on board Rahul Kumar Tewary's Udne Ki Aasha as Pari. She said that she was happy that the show regained its number one position after she came on board.
She said, "The TRP of the show shot back to number 1 after my episodes aired. Our creative head even messaged me saying, 'You got us back to number 1 again.' That truly felt amazing. I'm just happy that my small contribution created such a big impact."
She also confessed that though she took up the cameo for the fun of trying different looks, the response was great. She said, "It wasn’t something I planned deeply. But I’m so passionate about acting that I couldn’t resist. The response has been overwhelming. Fans told me they wished I had stayed on in the show."
"Even after all these years, people continue to message and encourage me—it’s heartwarming. It was also a joy to work with such a wonderful unit. The energy on set was so positive and welcoming," she added.
Tassnim also applauded the producers for having an amazing team and said, "Everyone on set was so humble and kind—it felt like a family atmosphere with great energy. I was treated really well during my four-day shoot. Everything was taken care of, and I’d definitely love to work with him again in the future."
She donned three different looks in the show and shared that she loved experimenting with them. She added, "Especially the one with the fringe haircut during my entry. I’m glad I could carry it well on screen. It was fun playing around with different styles in just a short span."
Asked about the kind of feedback she received, as her look reminded people of Shalini Passi, she said, "So many people said I resembled Shalini Passi, and I honestly take that as a huge compliment. I admire the way she carries herself. If my look in Udne Ki Aasha reminded people of her, I consider that a positive comparison."
"I received lots of compliments—people even clicked pictures of their TV screens and sent them to me. My DMs were flooded with love," she added.
What next? "At the moment, I don't have any immediate career plans. I'm focusing on my family—especially spending quality time with my daughter. My husband will be back soon, and we plan to travel together. After that, if something comes my way that really excites me, I’ll definitely take it up. For now, I’m leaving it to the universe," Tassnim ended.
