The Indiana Pacers couldn’t find their rhythm in Game 5, falling short with a 94-point effort. Their shooting woes were evident, going just 40.5% from the field and 33.3% from three. Tyrese Haliburton also struggled, hitting just 2-of-7 shots and failing to connect from beyond the arc, despite dishing out six assists while scoring just 8 points.

Bennedict Mathurin led all Pacers scorers with 23 points off the bench. He made 60% of his shots and nailed all nine free throws. Myles Turner and Obi Toppin chipped in with 5 and 11 points, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap as the Pacers face mounting pressure heading into the next game.
