Jaipur — The youngest formation of the Indian Army, Sapta Shakti Command, commemorated its 21st Raising Day today with solemn pride and patriotic fervor at its headquarters in Jaipur. Raised on 15 April 2005, the command has rapidly emerged as a formidable force on the western front, earning its reputation through exceptional professionalism, operational readiness, and unwavering commitment to national security.
Legacy of Strength and SacrificeThe celebrations began with a wreath-laying ceremony at Prerna Sthal, where tribute was paid to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty. The ceremony served as a poignant reminder of the valor and selflessness that form the bedrock of the Command’s ethos.
Over the past 21 years, Sapta Shakti Command has evolved into a technology-driven, future-ready, and agile force with the motto ‘Sarvada Vijayee Bhava’ (Ever Victorious). The Command has consistently demonstrated operational excellence through rigorous training, technological integration, and continuous evolution of tactical procedures—establishing a formidable stance on India’s western borders.
Leadership’s Vision for the FutureMarking the occasion, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, extended heartfelt greetings to all ranks, veterans, defence civilians, and families associated with the Command. Acknowledging the selfless service and sacrifices made by past and present personnel, Lt Gen Singh praised their role in shaping the identity and legacy of the Indian Army’s youngest command.
In his address, he emphasized the Command’s alignment with the Indian Army’s broader De Novo Strategy, aimed at strengthening operational preparedness through multi-domain synergy and technology absorption. The Army Commander highlighted significant infrastructure developments and ongoing efforts to adopt cutting-edge defence technologies that meet the evolving demands of modern warfare.
Commitment to Veterans and FamiliesLt Gen Singh also underscored the importance of veterans and Veer Naris, calling them the enduring pillars of the Sapta Shakti family. He reiterated the Command’s dedication to their welfare, referencing current and upcoming initiatives focused on support and empowerment.
He concluded by urging all members of the Command to re-dedicate themselves to protecting the sovereignty of the nation, facing future challenges with professionalism and unity. “Let us move forward with purpose and resolve, reinforcing the democratic ideals of our great nation and upholding the motto — Sarvada Vijayee Bhava,” he affirmed.
